Yoga History with Sofi Dillof | Jivamukti Teacher

The Yogasūtras of Patañjali is the earliest known surviving text systemization of the philosophy and practice of yoga. The Yogasūtras contain 194 sūtras, or aphorisms, which describe the goal of yoga (according to this text) the obstacles to attaining yoga, and the path to overcoming these obstacles.

In this three and a half-hour discussion-based workshop, you will explore the key concepts that comprise the underlying philosophy of the Yogasūtras and have an opportunity to practice some of the techniques given.

Bring your open, curious mind and enjoy exploring these teachings together in a supportive community.

Sofi Dillof is a yogic scholar, long-time teacher, and forever student who has dedicated herself to studying traditional yogic texts.
